Dear Current and Prospective COPAS Members,

Membership in COPAS of New Orleans presents tremendous opportunities in our dynamic industry. Your membership provides educational and networking advantages, along with the opportunity to participate in establishing Accounting guidelines and procedures utilized in the oil & gas industry.

Our 2019-2020 year kicks off with our Wednesday, September 18, 2019 General Meeting.  On our website, copasnola.org, you will find membership information including an application, invoice for membership dues and calendar of events. The invoice includes information on mailing your dues payment.  For prospective members, our forms may be reproduced.  We ask that you try to sponsor one new member.   Feel free to bring your prospective member to our September general membership meeting held at the Pan Am Conference Center (usual location-with no guest fee).  Please complete the application and submit payment by September 30, 2019.

Your COPAS of New Orleans membership will continue to include exciting opportunities this year. We are planning an Education Day to be held Wednesday, October 16, 2019 where our members can earn up to four CPE credits.  We will also continue the tradition of our Annual Spring Crawfish Boil, which is definitely a highlight of the year.  We are also exploring the feasibility of webcasting our general meetings for the convenience of our Northshore members.  More information regarding these events will be sent later in separate email communications.

We, the board, will be working hard along with you to keep the New Orleans Chapter of COPAS a vital link to the industry. Please do not hesitate to call upon any one of us.  Please pay particular attention to completing the Committees from which you would like to receive information.  We encourage your active participation throughout the year for the betterment of our profession, individual companies and the petroleum industry.

Be sure to visit www.COPAS.org and copasnola.org for more facts and figures about COPAS and our local chapter. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at [email protected] or (504) 681-3311.

Sincerely,

Greg Gonzales
